I like your the texture of your donabe, except white does not go so well with the colour palate, unless we used daikon in the dish? I have just uploaded a brown rice pot that Yoko bought. I don't mind the age of your donabe or the gas marks, it gives it character.

I have some great shots of pampas grass from Gifu ken Takaiyama. I saw some pampas grass at the Astor movie theater mens toilets. I would love to incorporate some in a shot.
maybe your fish hashi-oki is better? i liked the choppies you have.

an another option for donabe, we can use chinese donabe from asian groceries might look ok.

Maybe my fish Hashi oki may be better, the square hashi oki look like getta. The Daikon one is cute.
